Fall into fashion
The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler and clothing is transitioning into fall. This article is all about the wearable trends for fall. There are a few trends like the Maxi dress/skirt, blouses, and trousers that are a carryover from the spring 70’s look, but they are updated with fall cozier materials.
Maxi – The maxi is still really strong look this fall. In my opinion, this is a necessary piece in your wardrobe. I love the maxi dress/skirt as it’s just so easy to throw on and go. You can wear it with riding boots or booties and you can throw it on with a baggy top or sweater & belt it – so cute!
Blouses- I love the flowy and romatic look of blouses. It’s a very sophisticated and 70’s type of look. Wear blouses together with trouser pants & skirts. It’s such a great chic look.
Trousers – The trouser is a top look this season. It brings back the 70’s look again.
Pleats – Pleats can be seen in skirts as well as slouchy pleated pants. I know, I know, I can’t believe they’re back - well they are. The pleated skirt looks so polished & sophisticated…I love it!
Fur –Faux Fur jackets, collar scarves, & vests. This is another look carrying over from last year but is a must have for your fall wardrobe.
Strong Colors – Darker ruby colors are this season’s hit, especially the red! So go crazy with these colors & don’t be afraid to experiment with something different.
Lacey & crochet – The romantic, soft look of the lace & crochet has definitely made a stand on the runway this fall. This is a look that looks great on everyone.
Navajo prints- The Navajo print adorns clothing & accessories this season. This is a major print trend for fall.
Try on different looks this fall. If you feel you need a bit of a fashion makeover – or perhaps a pick me up, try a few of the above mentioned trends. None of them are over the top. They are easy to incorporate into last fall’s clothing and most importantly, when you try new things you have fun. Have fun this fall with some of these trend
