Six Looks to Keep
for the New Year
In this tough economy, everyone is looking for a little break. Well here’s
your fashion break – six great items from last year’s fashion scene that
can be incorporated into this year’s trends. It’s a great way to save some
money and extend the longevity of your wardrobe.
1. Wide Leg Pants or Jeans – The wide leg look is still strong in 2012.
wear it as you have.
2. Cat Eye Sunglasses – A very sleek look that will look great with every
outfit, whether dressed up or casual.
3. Color Blocking – I love color blocking. there is nothing better than
bright colors all placed together in one look. Remember to limit
it to 2- 3 different colors - more than that can start to look a little
punky brewster.
4. Prints – Prints are still continuing to be strong in 2012. popular prints
include floral, geometrical, digital & birds. Birds are a really big print
this year. Don’t forget to mix & match these prints like last year.
5. Lady Like 1960’s Look – This “mad men” style is not going away.
this look includes pencil skirts, flowy blouses, kitten heels, cropped
pants, etc. most of the runways showed a trace of it. I love it because it’s
so feminine.
6. Arm Candy – Keep your arm candy accessories. We’re still seeing
plenty of the stacked bracelettes with the metallic manstyled watches.
Bring these out again but match them up with the new looks, trends &
styles coming out this year. Carrying forward, these styles will still keep
you on the map for fashion but will also save you money.
Keep an eye out for next month’s article on my Spring
2012 fashion trends.
