I'm the first person to say that its really challenging to be Eco.
[Eco - eco-friendly, environmentally friendly, green, sustainable, minimal, zero waste, reduce carbon foot print, no harm to eco-systems, etc.] I will still get plastic bags at the grocery store if I forget my reusable bags; I still buy a coffee almost everyday in those through away cups; and my kids will still get plastic straws at restaurants or fast food places. BUT, I do want to learn how to change that.
Everyday in the month of March I'm going to post a small challenge. It won't take too much of your time - its more something for you to consider as you go about your day. I honestly believe that a lot of what we think are 'normal' behaviours are increasingly polluting the environment that we, and our children, depend on to live. I want to do what I can to change that. What I'm going to post are just little reminders; little suggestions on what we can do to decrease our negative
Hopefully we can all implement some of these during our busy lives and lower our carbon foot print - if even just a little bit. There is
strength in numbers, and hopefully we can all support one another to make a better place for all of us to live in.
I will be starting the Eco-Challenge March 1,2019 on our social media. Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. If you would rather I send you an email about it just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line 'Eco-Challenge' and I'll make sure to send it to you.
