Top Trend: How to Layer Necklaces

Posted on 21 December 2018

Layering necklaces are a big trend right now.  However, figuring out how to layer these necklaces together may prove to be a little difficult.  I'll show you some easy steps on how to do it.  By the end of this post, you will be an expert ;)

Here is a chart with the different lengths of necklaces to choose from. Wearing 1 to 4 necklaces at a time seems to be the norm when layering.  Use this chart below as a reference when layering.

I'll show you some combinations of 2 - 4 layers to start you off.

2 Layers: This 16" + 18" necklace combo is really cute.

In the below picture, you can get the top necklace here. The bottom necklace is now sold out but you can replace it with the chloe pendant hereinstead.

This is another example of a 2 Layer necklace with a 14"+ 20'. You can find this choker here & the 20" pendant Talisman here.

3 Layers: The most popular layering trend is 14" + 15/16"+18".

You can get the top classic chain necklace here or here The other pendants you can use are ones like the Bijou or Heart Locket.

Below is another great 3 layer combo which includes a longer 33" necklace. This looks really cute with a 16"+18" necklace. The 16"necklace is called the Gigi necklace and can be bought here. The other two necklaces can be found here. You can mix and match the charms.

Here is another cute combo. Similar to the top necklace, is the Gigi necklace here. The luna necklace is so cute! It can be worn layered like this or is great on its own. You can find it here. The bottom necklace is the Bijou necklace which was also seen above.

4 Layers: This is a 4 layer combo with a charm necklace incorporated. The 2nd from bottom necklace can be seen here. The bottom Venetian necklace can be purchased here.

You can wear the above necklace combo with a longer charmed necklace instead of the shorter one.

As you can see, there are many ways to wear your necklaces layered.  I just gave a few examples to get started.  Have fun with it & try different combinations to see which one suits you best.
