Why We Chose Skyla Bags

We liked these bags because they look good, but they’re also practical. There are secure closures, useful pockets and comfortable straps. Some styles can be carried by the handle or worn as a crossbody, which is always handy.

Skyla is a Montreal-designed Canadian brand. Its bags are vegan and cruelty-free, using materials such as PU and lightweight nylon instead of animal leather. Recycled materials are also used where possible, including linings made from recycled plastic bottles.

We’ve started with a small group of styles we think our customers will use most: a structured satchel, a softer hobo bag and a roomy woven tote. The colours are good too—black and taupe for every day, plus Bordeaux if you want something a little different for fall.
