Ashley Our Book Club Host & Expert

Hi, my name is Ashley! I am from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island but currently live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband, son and our Australian Shepard pup.

I am a huge bookworm and am so honored to be your book expert with Lemonberry! My parents fostered a love of reading in me when I was a child. My mom never said no to getting a new book and my dad had shelves upon shelves, and I dreamed of the day I could make my own library! I had a brief reading pause during university and as soon as I graduated with my Business & Accounting Degree, I jumped right back on the reading train and haven’t slowed down since.

I am most drawn to reading fiction, and my favourite genres are romantic comedies and psychological thrillers, but I will branch out and read everything. I am a big mood reader so I love to browse my shelves to see what catches my eye.

Besides reading, I love spending time with my family, taking vacations, pairing yummy food with wine, and everything home decor and design!

I am a big fan of caramel cinnamon sugar donuts and vanilla lattes! You can always find me with a book in my hand, two more in my purse, and I’m probably taking photos of them for my bookstagram! Follow along with me at @life_with_books.

January Book Pick

Ashley: Hi Lemonberry fam! For our first book club pick I am choosing a feel-good contemporary romance, or a rom-com! “Just Haven’t Met You Yet” by Sophie Cousens is just what we need to brighten the long January days. We’ll snuggle in with a cozy book sure to make us smile and laugh-out-loud along the way. I can’t wait to read it with you!

Ashley will kick off the discussion on January 4 in our private Facebook Book Club.
