Lemonberry — An Independent Women’s Boutique in Aurora Since 2004

Hi, I’m Lisa Simmons. I opened Lemonberry in Aurora in February 2004, inspired by my love of fashion, travel, and the street style I saw on trips to New York City. What started as a small independent boutique has grown and changed a lot over more than 20 years, but the part I still love most is finding things I genuinely want to bring back to the women who shop with us.

In 2013, after losing my dad, I started thinking differently about what I wanted Lemonberry to be. I became more interested in where products came from, the people and businesses behind them, and making more thoughtful buying decisions. That shift is a big reason Canadian brands and independent makers became such an important part of the store.

Lemonberry Today

Today, Lemonberry is a women’s clothing and lifestyle boutique with a mix of clothing, denim, jewellery, handbags, bath and body, books, gifts and things for home. We carry Canadian brands including Gentle Fawn, Pink Martini, Melissa Nepton and Jenny Bird, alongside brands we think make sense for our customers, including 7 For All Mankind denim.

We still buy like a small boutique. We choose pieces individually rather than trying to be everything to everyone, and many styles arrive in small quantities. You can shop with us in Aurora or online from anywhere in Canada.

For nearby customers, we offer local delivery in Aurora and Newmarket, as well as low-cost local delivery to surrounding communities including East Gwillimbury and Barrie. For orders travelling farther, we keep our Canadian shipping straightforward, with free Canada-wide shipping on orders over $150.
