Hi, my name Lisa Simmons. I'm a mom of two fantasic kids. Aside from family my two greatest loves are fashion & travel. I opened Lemonberry in February 2004 and we are located in Aurora Ontario in the St. Andrew Plaza.
I am inspired by NYC street urban looks and love to travel to NYC and pick up out styles and looks I can replicate in the store.
In 2013 my dad passed away and that changed my entire philosophy on life. You can read an article published by Good Life magazine here for more info. In summary, I came to the realization that life wasn't only about working to make money. I became more eco-aware and I saw the destruction that fashion was doing in the world and I wanted to try to change that. Lemonberry is now going in the direction of eco-conscious, non-toxic, sustainable & with an emphasis on Canadian products. Most of the store is like that now but we hope to be it completely soon. I love what I do & my customers are amazing. I wouldn't want to do anything else.
Lemonberry inspires women to feel beautiful and embrace a mindful, minimalist approach to their lifestyle - incorporating a collection of high-quality clothing, non toxic beauty products and lifestyle brands that align with our eco-conscious values and that are created with integrity. Our mission is to change the way women look at fashion and shift their approach to be more eco-aware.
To be known Canada-wide not only as the go-to eco-conscious women's boutique but as a place where women can go and feel supported and fulfilled in all areas of their lives - home, clothing, food, lifestyle & beauty. To create a movement that embraces minimalism and all things sustainable and good for the earth.
