5 Easy Steps to Goal Planning with FREE DOWNLOADS
Harvard Business study revealed amazing statistics relating to goal setting and success.
83% of the population does not have goals
14% have a plan in mind, but are unwritten goals
3% have goals written down
The people with written goals are 3 times more successful than the people with unwritten goals.

I make goals every year, and I've tried lots of different planners.  Some of them worked and some of them didn't.  I took what I liked from the ones that worked for me, put them all together, and am sharing it with you now.  The reason I have decided to do this is because I've heard time and time again from our customers that they never feel like they have enough time for anything. Goal planning REALLY helps with that issue. I've added my FREE DOWNLOADS in each step as well.  I am by no means an expert in goal planning.  I just feel goal planning is really important - not only for business, but for your personal life too.  It wasn't until I started goal planning seriously about 5 years ago that it changed my life.

So, what are your goals? What do you want to do with your life? Where do you see yourself in 1,3, 5 or even 10 years? These are important questions because then you will have focus and direction. You can achieve just about anything.

I created a one year plan for you but you can do a 3, 5, or even 10 year plan.  You just have to adjust your timeline.

5 Steps:

1. Brainstorm - Brainstorm sheet - Brainstorm what your goals are.  You can use the SMART acronym to help you brain storm (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound). Find out more about SMART here. Brainstorm all your goals for this year...ie, meal plan, lose weight, eat healthier, write a book, etc. A great way to do this is find a quiet space, light a candle, get your favourite pen and write away (maybe have a glass of wine too *wink*)

2. Goal Setting Worksheet - Fill out the Goal Setting Worksheet - Write down all your goals in each section. Write out the actions you will take to accomplish them and make sure to have a deadline as this will keep you in check.  If you have smaller goals you can just write them in the next step, or print up another sheet.

3. Year Planner - Print out this Yearly Planner - Of the three following planners, it's important to do this planner first.  Write in all your goals in to this planner for the year.  Write in all the important days and holidays from last year.  Put everything in...with the deadlines.  Eg.  I want to lose 20lbs. in 3 months.  How much weight would you have to lose each week? Write that in.

4. Monthly Planner - Print out your Monthly Planner - use all the information you put into your yearly planner into your monthly planner with more detail and specific dates.

5. Weekly Planner - Print out your Weekly Planner - Now you can take the information from the Monthly planner and put it into individual weeks. You can now be even more detailed about your goals in your days.

I hope this helps you as much as it's helped me.  Please know that you may not hit your goals exactly as planned, and thats ok - you can and should always change and adjust them as you need.  The idea here is to have focus and direction. Goal planning is a great way to keep on track.

Tell me what you think and if you goal plan below in comments.
