How to Make the Perfect Peppermint Latte at Home

πŸƒ Mint syrup πŸƒ

Bring 1 1/2 cups water to a low boil. Add 1 1/2 cups of sugar and stir until dissolved. Add a good handful of fresh mint leaves and steep for 10-15 minutes (heat off) until the syrup has a yummy peppermint flavour to it. Remove the mint leaves. This will make a good amount of syrup - keep any leftovers in your fridge!

For the mochaΒ 

On the stovetop heat, 3/4 cup milk and 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate together until melted - froth this mixture if you like!

✨ Making the drink ✨

Pour the milk mixture into a mug. Stir in 1/2 cup of espresso or strongly brewed My Indie coffee and 2-3 tablespoons of mint syrup. Top with whipped cream and candy cane pieces!
