Melissa’s approach to a good white tee was simple: look for one with a flattering neckline, a nice drape and enough versatility to work with the rest of your closet.

Melissa paired the white tee with jeans, a blazer and loafers. It’s a simple formula that makes a basic tee feel a little sharper without making the outfit too dressy.

For the second look, Melissa used the tee as the base under a casual fleece layer with jeans and clogs. The white tee keeps the outfit simple while the outer layer adds colour and texture.
