Hi, I’m Lisa Simmons — a mom of two, lover of travel, and the proud founder of Lemonberry. In 2004, I opened the doors to what would become one of Aurora’s go-to boutiques for Canadian fashion and thoughtful living.
Back then, my dream was simple: to help women feel good in what they wear. Inspired by the energy of New York street style and grounded in a love for local design, I began curating pieces that blend style, comfort, and integrity.
By 2013, after the loss of my father, Lemonberry began evolving — not just in fashion, but in purpose. I wanted the boutique to reflect something deeper: care for the planet, care for people. That’s when I leaned into sustainability. Today, almost 90% of our collections are Canadian-made, and we’re always looking for new ways to reduce our footprint without compromising on style.
